ELUX is a premium marine interface concept designed as a proof of concept for a prospective customer entering the maritime transportation space. Crafted in Figma, the experience reimagines the helm as a refined digital environment where navigation, vessel intelligence, and environmental awareness coexist in a calm, commanding layout.
With a focus on clarity, ELUX brings a luxury sensibility to complex marine systems, transforming operational data into an interface that feels intentional, composed, and maybe even seaworthy.

PROBLEM
As the company explored expansion into marine transportation, there was no established design to guide early customer conversations. The challenge was to define a credible, forward-looking interface vision that could communicate both technical maturity and premium brand positioning.

ELUX was designed to:
Establish a luxury-grade visual foundation for a new marine business unit
Demonstrate system-level thinking through hierarchy, layout, and composure
Balance navigation, telemetry, and control within a unified helm experience
Function as a rapid, high-fidelity proof of concept for customer dialogue
Signal long-term scalability while remaining conceptually agile
Guided, not gated
We broke down the onboarding into bite-sized steps, each focused on one clear action. Soft animations, calming colors, and friendly language reduced anxiety and increased flow completion.
We also introduced optional customization—letting users go deeper if they wanted, but never forcing them through irrelevant screens. Clear progress indicators made the experience feel fast and purposeful.
